Operation Building Bright 2.0 & Fire Safety Improvement Works Subsidy Scheme Mass Briefing Schedule
To assist building owners to conduct prescribed inspection and repair works under Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme (MBIS) and undertake fire safety enhancement measures as required by the Fire Safety Building (Buildings) Ordinance (FS(B)O), the Government plans to devote $3b and $2b respectively and partner with Urban Renewal Authority (URA) to implement Operation Building Bright 2.0 (OBB 2.0) and Fire Safety Improvement Works Subsidy Scheme (FSW Scheme). Subject to the allocation of fund, the Government expects that OBB 2.0 and FSW Scheme will be implemented in mid-2018 at the earliest.
URA will, in conjunction with different government departments and legal enforcement agencies, to organize 10 mass briefings in different districts for the target buildings’ owners from March to April 2018. Details as follows:

URA had issued invitation letters to target buildings’ owners to attend one of the above briefing sessions, please call 3188 1188 for enquiries.
