How to handle?
Total replacement of aged waterproofing construction is the most reliable method in dealing with roof leakage problems. The most reliable approach of solving roof water seepage problem is to replace all aging or damaged waterproof layer. Waterproofing materials commonly used in Hong Kong according to their method of construction are divided into two types: paint (liquid type) and coating (membranous type).
To tackle water seepage of the exterior wall, the first step is to replace/remove the leakage part, such as bore hole, honeycomb concrete, dust and other impurities and cracks. Next, suitable waterproofing material should be applied.
